    Thank goodness they stopped him in time. I was happy to see that at least now they will know what the kid's been up to and take steps to help him. I liked Alastor in this, he seemed very kind.

    No, don't do it! I hope someone finds him before he lands or something. You did a great job with this first chapter, it was very poignant and sad and I hope that Harry learns to value the life he has. Poor thing!

    Author's Response: I wrote this chapter in a very hard time for myself and just wanted to let it stay as a one-shot. But my life changed again and I felt like continuing this in a more positive way. The rest of the fic won't be so negative. I hope you will like it! Thank you for your review!

    I really liked this story, but want to know why you have 8 chapters up on fanfiction and 3 on this site? Cant wait till you update, you left chapter 8 on a clift hanger !!!!!

    I first didn't plan on submitting this story here! Chapter 9 is already at my beta, but she needs time. Therefore I will update here each day until I'm up to date with fanction(dot)net. But I have to warn you. Chapter 9 will end with a even worse cliffy. Sorry that I'm a little cruel to my readers lately.

    Very interesting safeguards on the towers. Too bad JKR didn't have them in place when DD got blasted off the top, eh? things would have been very different...

    This is so sad, but you explain the cutting and Harry´s guilt, agony and hopelesness really well.
