    I was thrilled to see that Ron was able to find a suitable female friend besides Hermione. It is a rare treat to see the young redhead as a mature teenager with thoughts and feelings of his own; so many times the story is centered around Harry. Ron certainly deserves a girl of his own and I'm happy that in this, at least, he's able to have one.

    I enjoyed the unique twist of Harry battling the lamia and not a dragon. I also enjoyed the end of the chapter where Severus banished the she-demon back to hell. I cannot imagine how much power and mental strength it must have recquired. As with Ron, it is rare to see the man in a positive light and you portrayed that here beautifully.

    I can't tell you how pleased I was that Philip played a large role in this chapter. I truly love when he is overprotective mode, with his violet eyes flaring and his teeth bared and a soft warning hiss escaping his throat... I did enjoy the sword-fighting lessons; actually, I look forward to them every time I see a new update (within reason; I don't expect a lesson every chapter ;)).

    The scroll Harry had to retrieve intrigues me.

    yeah, I wanted Ron to finally catch a girl who wasn't from Hogwarts, just to lvien things up. 

    Glad you liked the lamia and yes, it did take a lot out of Severus to banish that evil thing. I love portraying him positively.

    Yeah Phil was great here and he'll be giving old DD a piece of his mind soon.

    Your Krum really IS a jerk, Isn't he?

    WEll written chapter! I think I like the new challenge, although I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop--it really seems to "safe" a challenge, what's the catch?

    Well, it will require a lot of research and the riddle they have to solve is quite hard and none of them have the same one. And there is one other thing that will happen.

    Oh no!!! Can't Harry and Draco go ten minutes without getting into trouble? Yikes! How are they going to get out of this one?

    I love how Severus stood up for his son, and gave DD royal hell.

    Great chappie Snapegirl.

    Nope, because they're Harry and Draco! Uh, they might not be able to, considering the circumstances.

    DD has been needing someone to do that for a long time and Severus had a right to be angry about what almost happened.

    Great change to the tournament! I really liked it. But that lamia was scary. I'm glad it was gone and I love how Severus verbally thrashed Bagman. Update soon!

    Wow....Now that thing is scary. And I thought the GoF's dragons were difficult. Yeesh! You are one sly author y'know...speaking of which, I really ought to start working on the next chap for Runner. *wanders off to do so..hopefully*
