    Oh wow, that was so beautiful. I'm so pleased that Jilly was able to cure Severus. How sweet.

    I'm really worried about Harry though. How's this conversation between him and Sev going to go now though.

    I think eventually Harry will cry and throw himself into Sev's arms. Or, I HOPE he does. :P

    Nice chapter, though it's a bit weird that Severus didn't ask to see Harry right away. After all, Severus knows what the dagger is capable of!

    Author's Response: Severus was pretty out of it at the time, and when he did wake up in the beginning, he did ask how Harry was. The second time it was the middle of the night and he was so shocked to see Jilly that he didn't know what to do and I'm sure he assumed from Grace's reaction that Harry was all right and sleeping. Plus he's still sick as well. And not up to his old self at all.

    I loved the way you had jace and Grace convince Hedwig to trust Harry and help him. Jace's comment about Slytherins keeping secrets was dead on target. I also loved the way the dagger was destroyed and now I hope Sev forgives Harry and gets well.

    Brilliant. You maintained the tension through the whole chapter, and, of course, got the handling of the dagger spot on.

    That was a beautiful chapter. I see why Hedwig didn't drop it in, just let Harry do it. He needed to. Now let's get Sev healthy!

    Author's Response: Yes, that's so. Harry really need to destroy it to prove to himself and everyone else that he was not the dagger's pawn. If he had let Hedwig destroy it, he would always wonder if he really would have been able to resist it. You can see Severus getting healthy in my next chapter, up now!

    yay they're free of the evil princess! i hope severus forgives harry it really wasn't his fault and somehow their bond will grow stronger :) can't wait!
