    Hey!
    I'm so glad I bumped into this story. I just love it! I read it in one through, from the first chapter to the last. Honestly, this is one of the best fics I've ever read. Your portrait of Snape is perfect.I can't wait for the next chap, please update soon!

    Oh, I'm so stupid. Of course it was Harry who give him the black eye!! Just got it now as I reread the chapter.

    Yes the bruises were from Harry/Draco falling into the bookcase. When I pictured the fight I imagined it as being pure luck for Harry that Draco came out of it worse off. (e.g  Crabbe and Goyle being more of a hinderance than a help, Lysander being there to protect Harry, Snape getting there in the nick of time as things were turning nasty) Plus I really wanted Harry to come out on top for once after all the violence he'd had to deal with in the past.

    Oh, that's interesting. So Draco wasn't allowed to play either, and what the heck happened to his eye. Did another Slytherin do that to him because of what he did to Harry? I wouldn't imagine Snape would ever do that.

    Ooh, I'm so pleased that you've updated again. I suppose that I'm being greedy in asking for another chappie?

    That was a good fight. Snape will take Harry's side. I just know he will. :-)

    It's not so much that Snape takes Draco's side as such but he's not particularly sympathetic to Harry!

    I am really enjoying your story and can't wait for the next chapter. Hopefully Snape will take Harry's side and realize what Draco is doing. Snape is pretty smart. Draco I think needs a butt kicking, maybe from the slytherins? That would be enjoyable.

    Thanks so much for taking the time to review. Yeah Snape is pretty smart and will certainly not take anything Draco says at face value after his comment the previous day. Whether Snape will actually take Harry's side as such is another matter though...

     PS I agree Draco deserves some come uppance. I'm not completely unsympathetic to his character and will reveal more about his motivation as the story goes on but he is definately spends most of his time acting like an utter git.

    Oh boy!! I think that both Malfoy AND Harry are going to be in trouble, but hopefully Snape will see that Harry has been provoked, and punish all the Slytherins that beat up on Harry.

    I just actually re-read the story from the beginning I'm so glad that you've updated, and I hope that we can to see what happens soon, since y you left us with a cliffie!

    Well luckily thanks to Lysander Harry didn't really get hurt - just roughed up a bit. He actually managed to give more than he took fortunately. Goodness knows if anyone deserves a punch it is Draco atm... as for Snape we'll have to wait and see what he thinks... hopefully won't be too long before I get the next chapter up.

    Great chappie as per usual. I'm so glad that Harry held true to his principles and refused to kill more mice.

    I'm also glad that Snape is reassuring Harry that he'll never be sent back to the Dursleys.

    Author's Response: Thanks- I'm glad you liked it :) Yes even though Harry has been told plenty of times he still worries about going back to the Dursleys...poor kid.
