    I just started reading this story and I just could not stop. Its brilliant! I love how their relationship evolved. Please continue!

    I DEFINITELY would never do it, but it is a Snape-y thing to do. Loved Snape comforting Harry after his nightmare; he was nice but without getting OOC.

    Thanks! Yeah I get slightly worried writing the bits like that (comforting Harry) in case it does come across as too soft so I'm glad it didn't seem that way to you...

    Hmm yeah, I think being prepared to kill the mice whilst remaining so detached would be impossible for most people but with Snape's past he has been desensitised. He'd never have made it as a deatheater & spy otherwise...

    Cheers for reviewing again. I'm half way through the next chapter and will keep at it as soon as I get a sec :)

    This was such a great chapter, Snape handled it really well! The Connor plotline is getting very interesting, can't wait for the Draco/Harry spat!

    Yeah Snape's trying really hard to not fly off the handle but it doesn't come easily to him!

    There should be a bit of an insight into what makes Connor tick in the next chapter or two...

     Yes sorry it's taking so long  to get to the Draco/Harry bit- I will get there eventually I promise!

    LOVE connor!! Thought it was going to be a fanfiction cliché to be honest with a link with Sirius over there. Which it may be. Dunno yet. But he is soooo funny!!!! Well done on the dialogue - and bringing Luna in too! ;D I thought your description of the reaction to her comment was excellent!

    Author's Response: Glad you're liking Connor so far. I was a bit nervous about using an OC to be honest but hopefully he will become a well rounded character as more about him is revealed gradually as the fic progresses...

    Should harry know the spell? Did his mum use it on him or something? It's very exciting! I take it Moody ripped Snape apart so much. Snape was great when he was mad at Dumbledore et al.

    Stuff will gradually be revealed about the spell as the fic progresses...

    There's a lot of unresolved history between Snape and Moody. Moody never really trusted Snape (despite what he does for the order) and Snape can never forgive him for how he treated him when he first changed sides. You're right in thinking he basically tore him apart :(

    Author's Response: I was going to write it differently at first and have Snape mend the broom but then I decided it would have a bit more bite if he couldn't undo his action and had to cope with feeling guilty and Harry being upset... :(

    What a great idea of Snape's! I loved his remark: '‘I can’t do it when you hover like that.’ Harry muttered.

    ‘You can’t seem to do it anyway.’ Severus replied cuttingly.' ;D

    Brewing potions always makes Snape feel better and he can't think of what else to do with Harry!

    Yeah he's never been one for praise and encouragement lol  :)

    Ah have to wait and see-will be explained further on in the fic eventually! Can't say yet will give too much away...

    Yeah sorry I know there's typos in there -I've just got a beta and will be gradually going through and amending stuff :)

    lol think you're reading these as I'm writing them! ;) I was shocked that Snape actually admitted he had done his best at attacking Harry's mind - I would not have thought he would have been humble enough. Or relaxed enough. And it was such a shame that he misunderstood Harry at the end there! :(

    lol yes I'm being a screen geek tonight, on my laptop while I'm also watching TV...

    I think Harry shocked the admission out of him!

    Yeah gradually they will start to understand one another... at least to some extent
