For some reason, I was really reluctant to start reading this story. I thought there'd be too much Sirius and not much Snape. Boy, am I ever glad I have read it. I've read it through 3 times now. Stunning job. I love it!

    Author's Response:

Ah much as I like Sirius I think Snape is the more interesting, multifaceted character. Plus I am slightly obsessed with the man which may also be a little something to do with it lol...

I think I'm gonna re-write my story summary soon anyway, so might give it some thought to see how best to descrive it...

    Thanks for your comments :)

Moody hit a spell at Snape!!!! I wonder if he really did do it on purpose? I loved how it was Harry who saved Severus, and how he didn't even mean to do it. When everyone was standing around the bed and saying Severus needed to go to St.Mungo's but couldn't be moved and Harry was just clutching his hand; my heart was beating so fast! I think you captured that moment so well. I can't wait for the next chapter!

    Author's Response:

I left it open as to whether it was done on purpose but overall I think it probably was a genuine mistake. Dumbledore thinks it was an accident and he's a pretty good judge of character. Having said that Snape is paranoid with good reason as in this fic the aurors will be portrayed as being pretty murky at times.

I wanted to get Harry and Severus to hug at some point in this chapter! It didn't quite happen though ...oh well they did get to hold hands lol...

Thanks for taking the time to review:)

Eventually, Snape owes harry a broom and a big thank you for saving his life. Is Sirius really dead? I really like snape and harry together, but burning his broom, ugh!

    Author's Response:

He will get the new broom quite soon, not so sure about the thank you though as stuff like that isn't really Snape's forte. Hopefully he will show Harry he appreciates it though.

Ah Sirius...maybe, maybe not. Sorry that's so useless but it's part of the plot that there will be some uncertainity. Harry well think he is still alive at one point. Whether he is or not we will have  to see...

Yeah the broom thing was particularly harsh. Not just so much doing it as watching Harry scramble about madly trying to put it out. Snape was definitely acting in git mode.

    Thanks so much for reviewing:)

I like!!! I really like how ticked off Sev is about Harry saving him. You can tell he was worried. :0)

Author's Response: lol only Severus could sound annoyed when he said that line! Yep they're both gonna have to address the fact that they care about eachother now :)

wow again. way to ratchet up the tension.

I feel like I've been running, and it isn't that long of a chapter.

    Amazing writing.

    Author's Response:

He he, I'm glad you liked it, I was a bit worried it would be a bit of a messy chapter with everyone floo'ing in and out all over the place... but it was supposed to be a bit chaotic and hectic at the end to contrast with Snape being so calm earlier...

    Thanks so much for reviewing:)

Oh that was amazing. Poor Harry though. I can't wait for the next chapter to find out if Snape is going to be okay.

Author's Response: Thank you :) Hopefully the next chapter won't be long... Yeah poor Harry, it never rains but it pours for him does it? At last him and Snape are being forced to admit to themselves that they care about eachother...

oh, my. I cried all through this, from the burning of the broom onward. Ow. Poor Harry. And Snape is so practical-minded, that it doesn't occur to him that apologizing for his unthinking action might actually be a balm for Harry.

The footstep "dreams" make me nervous.

I really want to read what happens next.

    Author's Response:

Thanks so much for your review.  I'm glad it seemed sad cos I thought to myself when I was writing it what would be the most hurtful thing Snape might do at this stage in the story... pretty harsh stuff. He will apologise - but not for a while yet, I have that bit planned out! The latest chapter veers away from the 'dreams' & Harry's grief for Sirius but these will be picked up again shortly.
