Reviews For My Enemy's Enemy
You have some issues with spelling and grammar... the spell for Legilimency is Legilimens (you've had a couple of different spellings). One of the last lines: "Severus think he had actually listened to him." (think should be thought) In other chapters: pijamas should be pyjamas (assuming british spelling) in: "when they found out he had ran away from him" (had ran should be had run, which is the pluperfect.) There were a few others that I noticed, but the story itself is so fabulous, that I am well and truly hooked. More! (adding to favorites) Author's Response: Ah yes the angst-I'm afraid there's lots more of that headed this way! As for the spelling and grammar *blushes* I will amend all those errors as soon as I get a sec. I tend to type like a mad thing and give it a quick (and obviously not particularly thorough) read through. Opps. Cheers for pointing them out... Lots more of this story to come, next chapter is half written but I am starting a new job and flat seaching at the mo so I've been a bit busy lol :) Thanks for reviewing.
Author's Response: Yes Snape and Harry will be reaching an understanding although it may not seem like it's headed that way at times! Watch this space re Sirius... Thanks for taking the time to review :)
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you liked it:)
I love how you keep Snape in character, and Harry too. Poor Harry though, I wish that someone would tell him what's going on. Poor kid. Author's Response: Am working on the next chapter and trying to keep them both in character cos it all gets a bit crazy...Harry's gonna find out more soon. Thanks for reviewing! :)
Author's Response: Thank you! The next chapter shouldn't be long...
Author's Response: Yeah but being Harry he felt guilty that Snape got hurt because he was protecting him, and he can't stop himself from rushing in and trying to help- bless him. Thanks a lot for reviewing :)
This chapter was amazing, and powerful and I thought that you portrayed their burgeoning relationship very well. Author's Response: I know - I was trying to think of some particularly nasty and vindictive spell for Voldermort to do and throwing acid in someones face seemed up there with the worse. Don't worry there won't be any permanent damage although Snape finds it hard to deal with Harry witnessing his humilation. Thank you for your comments. Yes I just don't want them to get on too well too soon. Though I'm pretty sure that's not going to be an issue in the next chapter... gonna be a lot of angst I think.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review :) Sorry it took me a bit longer than usual to do an update for ch 7, I had a job interview this week so was distracted by that! Anyway hope u like the next chapter
I'm glad though that he got to see a bit of what Harry has gone through at the hands of the Muggles. Author's Response: Thanks for the review - I really appreciate the fact that you keep writing them :) Yes I hope I manage to keep Snape in character, even as he softens to Harry. The next (or possibly one after next) chapter will be quite a challenge in that respect I think with whats going to happen... I won't give anything away apart from to say that Severus is gonna need to try and keep his temper!
Author's Response: Thank you- Yes Harry is developing his own, rather unusual technique! More to come soon :) |
