Reviews For My Enemy's Enemy
This is so well written, and I'm really looking forward to your next chappie! Which I hope will be really soon! Author's Response: Thank you! Yes for Snape going to get an extra blanket and giving Harry some hot chocolate in the night were quite big steps. The flying thing was almost an apology which Snape wouldn't actually come out and say...I think his actions rather than what he says tell you the most about Snape. Mind you Harry won't be able to trust him for a while yet!
Author's Response: Yes and it's about time too! The occlumency might actually be a bit more sucessful soon as they begin to work together more :) Thanks for taking the time to review.
I think that Snape was really worried for Harry, even though he wouldn't admit it! Too cute I love the way you keep Snape in character, while still allowing him to grow to care for Harry. I hate a too mushy Snape. Nice work. I can't wait to read more.
Loving your story so far! I like how Snape seems so much in character, and how (even when the chapter is not in his point of view) it is expressed in his vocabulary when interpreting Harry's actions. Letting Harry go flying is a very good way of diffusing the situation on his part, I did not expect it of him. He just couldn't resist that final remark though, coul he.. He must seem very unpredictable to Harry if he'll run hot and cold in the coming chapters, I'm curious how you'll deal with that next. Harry actually begging him seems very sad, especially because it is a result of him not having anyone to turn to at all for help. Hope you update soon of course :-) Author's Response: Hey thank you for your review:) Yes Snape is beginning to realise just how genuinely terrified Harry is of returning to the Dursleys. He is also beginning to feel slightly guilty about the whole thing. He needs to hurry up and tell Harry he wouldn't actually send him back there and that it was just a threat!:)
Author's Response: Thanks! Yes Snape as I see him would never hit Harry ... unless he really lost his temper to the point where he wasn't in control of his actions at all. And I think staying in control is very important to Snape so that wouldn't happen lightly. Also I think that Snape would pride himself on his Slytherin abilities to instill fear without resorting to force... Hence his bark is quite a bit worse than his bite so far. Mind you threatening to send a child back to abusive relatives is almost as bad as hitting him I think...
Author's Response: Thank you:) My problem is I have ideas for chapters faster than I can write them and I constantly find myself wanting to work on chapters further on in the story... Anyway hope you like the next chapter :)
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing:) Yes there is a turning point which is approaching. Glad you like Severus so far hope I don't make you hate him too much in the next chapter...
Author's Response: Yes he acts like a complete git but can always justify it in his own mind! Harry has been so patient so far but can he keep it up? hmm... Thanks for reviewing!
Harry is going to refuse to cooperate with Snape. Does he value his life? LOL! Great story, can't wait for more. I hope that Snape does get to know the real Harry and that things will go better. So maybe I missed it, but does Sirius actually have custody of Harry now, or was Harry just staying at his house? Author's Response: Poor Harry has tried so hard to do his best and get along... but he has reached his snapping point. And yes. It won't be pretty. Glad you're enjoying it. Things will get better though you may hate Snape before it gets to that point! Sorry! Well Harry is living with Sirius unoffically with Dumbledore's knowledge and but no one else (apart from the order) knows yet. At the moment we can assume that Harry and Sirius plan to continue for Harry to stay with him during school holidays. Oh and I know it is a bit random (and convenient) that Sirius has gone abroad and left Harry but I do actually have plans for what he is doing to become part of the plot in later chapters. Thanks for the review :) |
