Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: A new chapter will be up very soon. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the story. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks! The next chapter will be up very soon.
Author's Response: Yes, I know in canon that Severus' mother is Eileen Prince. I took the liberty of changing canon a bit for my story.
Author's Response: Harry was raised in the Muggle world, but for all purposes he wasn't really exposed to many things in the Muggle world considering the way he was treated by the Dursleys. He hardly ever went places, wasn't allowed to watch TV, etc. The only place he might have heard about cancer is health class in primary school, and cancer isn't something that's covered for children under 11 years old. I took a rather harsh take on Harry's upbringing, but considering this would happen in the late 80s/early 90s before all the cancer awareness groups were something that everyone had heard of, I believe it's very possible Harry wouldn't have heard of cancer.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Paganaidd. I know you're in the medical field so that makes your comment mean so much more. I'm glad my research has paid off. :)
ah! so exciting! i love the way you portray the teachers and madame pomfrey of course! Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
Author's Response: Harry has only been undergoing chemo for a week. I know it seems longer, but the pacing slowed down for those chapters. However, Harry's hair loss is imminent...
Author's Response: I haven't abandoned the story. I unfortunately had a super busy semester and didn't have the time to write. The next chapter is coming very soon.
Author's Response: It's coming. Real life got in the way, and I had too much to write for school that I didn't have time to write for myself. :( |
