    Again, I'm really enjoying the characterization of Severus here. And you've introduced some really unique and well thought out concepts. I'm excited to read on - you are developing this all at a brilliant pace!

    I'm highly impressed - I think that you've got a wonderful start right away with some interesting explorations of both Dumbledore and Snape. I honestly can't wait to see how this pans out - it has a lot of potential and I'm really looking forward to more.

    Not a huge fan of Snape naming his kitten 'Fluffy' though. Very un-dungeon bat like...then again, you seem to be exploring different facets of these characters so I'll keep an open mind!

    Author's Response: Thanks! You have quite a bit of twists and turns to go, and I hope you like them. Severus' cat is named Flurry, not Fluffy. She's referred to as a fluffy cat which may have gotten you mixed up, and she has her own story that comes out a bit later.

    For some reason, I don't think it's Voldemort this time. Yet another amazing chapter, Ella. I really really love this story, even though it's made me cry in several places. Hopefully Christmas break will allow a few more updates?

    Good reading this, not doing any work because I keep going to read 1 chapter and end up still here a couple of hours later. The lord of the rings maybe.

    I swear this story needs tissue alerts :) I can remember telling my Dr that their would be no spinal taps when we were talking about cancer treatments. I didn't care about how much they thought that they needed spinal fluid to check they weren't getting it. Luckily my cancer was in the early stages(and wasn't the type that required it)so it wasn't needed.

    Thank you for your hard work on this chapter it must have taken a lot out of you to write it.
    I love the way Severus is so protective of harry and the way he is fighting for him I hope dumbledore goes no where near Harry in the near future.

    Author's Response: It was a hard one to write. I was a little rusty and the characters didn't want to do what they were suppose to, Harry and Severus in particular. After I got them to somewhat cooperate the writing went a bit better. I love protective Severus, too, and I predict we'll see more of it. Thanks!

    Oh my. That was awful and I think my cat noticed that something was bothering me as I read about the pain Harry was going through.

    The red eyes thing makes me think that The Dark Lord is possessing Harry's body at key moments to cause him more pain. But no matter the cause, I'm confident that Severus will find a way to help.

    Awww poor Harry. this is probably one of the best sick Harry stories I've read. I can't wait to see if harry goes in remmission. I love the interaction between harry and snape. i'm glad they did not just jump into a father/son relationship but are gradually getting there.

    Author's Response: I'm honored to be included in one of the best sick Harry stories you've read. I actually got the inspiration to read this one after really some sub-par sick Harry fics. Harry and Sev are gradually getting there, but it'll be quite some time yet before Harry truly thinks of Severus as his father enough to call him dad. Thanks!
