But I'm so glad that Harry and Severus are getting on so well now. Harry needs him and I think Severus needs Harry just as badly. It's just sad that it was cancer that brought them together... I like the playful snark they throw at each other. It makes me smile. ^_^ Wonderful chappie Ella! I'll have to read more when I get back from work tonight!! Go Severus, go! While I'm glad Ron snapped Harry out of a funk for a moment, I'm also angry with Ron. Way to go Weasley!! But then, it would be pretty scary to see your best friend like that...but Severus came! XD How wonderful! And then he read LOTR!! I would KILL to have Alan Rickman read that to me...I mean Snape...XD Ten hundred thousand points to you for this chappie!! Wonderful chapter!! Author's Response: Yay! But Harry passed potions? YAY!! That's great for him! Though I'm kinda sad he failed his history as I'm a history person. (But then his teacher's dreadful!) But Yay Harry! I'm glad that Harry's pushing back some of his resentment and anger towards Snape. He needs Severus and I'm happy that Severus is being so understanding. And he's even letter Ron come!! 0_0 That's a big step! Still loving the story Ella! I'm going on!! Author's Response: I understand Ivy. I've been pretty bad myself lately. I have this little problem of reading things on my phone before I fall asleep and then I totally forget to review the next day. Oops. I'm a history person, too, but even the most interesting stuff in history can be super boring with a bad teacher, but really what's failing history when he passed Potions! Harry and Sev are taking big steps in their relationship, but they have a long ways to go. Thanks!

Love the treatment that Ron is getting (^-^)/ I can't wait to see what Severus gets Harry. Perhaps it is just me but even at my age I love toys, crayons, coloring books, and definitely plushies!! Author's Response: There are seriously apple doughnuts, two different kinds in fact. One is an apple cider doughnut which is the one I was thinking of that is like a cake doughnut that's really good and the other kind is an apple filled doughnut. You see a little what Harry gets in Chapter Thirty-Four, but a lot of it won't be revealed until Chapter Thirty-Six, but I can tell you that you got one of them right. ;) Thanks!
I loved Harry's conversation with Minerva, and I think it's good for him to have her know about the situation (Severus being his father), and for her to be supportive. It's hard for Harry sometimes, because he is one of the parties intimately involved. But talking with Minerva helped him to see it more objectively (I hope) and she is someone whom he respects, so her opinion will carry some weight. It was also fun to read about Harry's pleasure in seeing his gifts, and that he is beginning to realize that Severus has changed and truly cares for him. Hermione has a wonderful relationship with her mum, too, which was nice to see. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, and I hope Harry's new form of treatment will go well, though I'm concerned. Great job again! Author's Response: I agree. Sev's being a great dad, and it's certainly time Harry has someone looking out just for him. Minverva's opinion will certainly carry some weight. She knows both of them very well in different situations and it a good "outside" source that's able to see things without bias. I wanted to show a bit of the relationship between Hermione and her parents. We never really get to see it in the books, they're just figures that are mentioned in passing. I mean she's like hardly ever even with them. lol. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! It's easier for Sev to come to terms with it since deep down he still has those emotions he felt for Harry buried somewhere, whereas Harry doesn't remember any of it. I'm sure Harry will come around eventually, but he needs a lot of repeated reassurance until he'll be able to accept it.
Author's Response: The women's sizing isn't so confusing, compared to kids sizes. A size 16 in the UK for boys is like a lot bigger than a US boys size 16 according to the size charts I saw. I think the difference lies in the US expecting kids to get into and want to be in adult sizes by the time they're around 13/14 so a US boys size 16 is meant to fit a 14 year old instead of in the UK it's a 16 year old boy. If that wasn't confusing. lol. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks! They're close again for now, but they have a lot of things to work out yet and Harry is well a teenager.
