Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Ps: P'cawn or Pee-can. I live in Georgia, both are used. Author's Response: I'm not sure you'll be totally blaming Dumbledore after the next chapter... ;)
Author's Response: Thanks and I'm guessing you're from the South with the way you say pecan. ;)
Author's Response: Dumbledore has his reasons... I'm happy to hear you're enjoying my story, and I'm excited to hear the response once I get the next chapter written. I hammered out the details with my friend last night and I'm excited with what I came up with.
PS: I enjoyed the chapter :) Author's Response: Our subdivision used to be a pecan grove, (I think that's what they're called. lol) so the tree came with the house. We used to have three, but took down two of them because of the mess they made and the possibility of them falling on the house during a hurricane. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the chapter. Thanks!
Let's see, I say "P-cawn," as I am from the South. I'd also like a bag of pecans for my reward for reviewing. Great chapter as always. Though it was not action filled, you still managed to do it up right. I really enjoyed the chapter. I'm glad that Severus is wise enough to realize that he shouldn't trust Dumby, who by the way, curtousy of me, has had several hexes hurled at him due to his stealing Sev's mail. Hey Dumby, that's against the law (at least Muggle law, not sure about Wizarding) I guess he's going to excuse it away with "Best for wizarding sake," sigh. Despite Snape usually keeping a level head in strife, I was glad to see him loose it with the potion phials. "You won't have to worry about another occurrence like this year's where Harry and his cohorts sent Gryffindor into negative numbers, but I still think Slytherin will win," Severus enjoyed riling up Minerva over house rivalry." Aww, I sort of smirked at that, yes, Harry will be too sick to get into his normal yearly trouble, but even if he's well, I'm sure that Severus will be keeping a tight reign on his son. He won't be able to continuely risk his life. Aww, it was sad to see that Harry automatically assumed that he had made Severus angry. I LOVED how Severus quickly informed him otherwise, in fact this is my favorite line from this chapter,: "Merlin no, child," Severus said, his voice softening as he moved from the chair to Harry's side. Harry let out the breath he had been holding as Severus wrapped an arm around him and pulled him into his side. "You're never going back there. You hear me?"" That was sooo touching, I bet that Severus will be thinking up nasty but just desserts for those miserable excuses for human beings, of course to be carried out when Harry feels better. Aww, Severus PRINCE sounds like he would look very handsome. I bet that pale blue shirt looks smashing on him, thanks for going with that instead of the (pretty but overused) Green. I admit I did lol at the fact that the Prince Signet is a unicorn, when I first read it, I pictured a unicorn a-la "My Little Pony" variety. ""Of course," she nodded. "Are you coming to the Order meeting tonight?" "I haven't decided yet. I'm sure I could get Poppy or Mrs. Weasley to stay with Harry while I attend the meeting, but it'll depend on how he's feeling," Severus pinched the bridge of his nose. He really needed to brew a fresh batch of his strongest headache potion. " Hmm, I wonder if this is how Severus is going to realize something's amiss. I know that he is smart enough to realize that Ron told his Mom, but if he asks Molly to "babysit" Harry due to his cancer/chemo, and she thinks he is perfectly fine....yeah something is going to happen....Great job... Time for questions: -Remember when Harry's scar bled a few chapters back, why was that? I don't remember ever reading a reason why. - Is Harry going to have blood transfusions/platlets? If my memory and information serve me correctly, then he would. I hope that you update very soon. I really hope that the next chapter covers WCS AND the ORDER meeting (I'm excited for that chapter, girlie). Great job as usual. Author's Response: You can totally have a bag full of pecans. Have fun cracking them! All I'll say is that Dumbledore has his reasons, and it's not quite as it seems... Yes, Severus needed to lose it for a moment. He can't always keep everything bottled up. I don't even think Sev has thought about retribution concerning the Dursleys. He's too busy with Harry at the moment. I thought green wouldn't be weird enough of a color for Sev. LOL a unicorn a-la "My Little Pony." I can assure you the unicorn isn't as pretty as that. I didn't ever gave a reason why, which reminds me that I should, so thanks! Yes, Harry will have blood transfusions/platelets. However, it's kinda counterproductive to give him blood products at the same time of being infused with chemo since the chemo will work to kill off all the good cells that the blood products give him, unless his levels gets really low.
Pee-can, I think, not that they're very common over here. Author's Response: Dumbledore has his reasons... A few things are not as they seem and that's all I'll say for now.
Author's Response: Is that code for good?
Author's Response: Thanks! I have a lot of ideas of what I'm going to to include in the next chapter, but unfortunately I'll have like no time until Monday. =( I might get to start on the next chapter tonight, but I have to be up at 7:30. Yuck.
Author's Response: Thanks! Albus has his reasons, which we'll start to unravel next chapter...
Author's Response: I know p'cawn is a southern thing. People look at me strangely down here when I say pee-cawn, trust me. lol. He doesn't use glamorous for his Prince personality. You might've got confused because he did apply one, but only to get rid of the dark circles around his eyes so he didn't look so tired. Yay that you're happy when you get my alerts. I'm excited about writing the next chapter because I can't wait to see how it goes over. I just need some time now. Thanks! |
