Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Poor Harry! What a horrible thing to be going through. And at the same time, I love how his relationship with Severus is developing. Author's Response: Thanks! Harry is going through horrible things and there's a few things yet that he'll have to face. He's tough though and I'm sure he'll continue to fight. We're supposed to hit 89 again tomorrow. Ugh. I totally feel your pain.
Ahem, sorry about that. Anywho, so Sev blew is cover at the Ministry, eh? Hmm...and now Harry has to stay with Snape for the rest of the summer and he's lost so magic, eh? Hmm...sounds like a great plot to me! (with kittens!) This was really good! I liked the part where Snape went into his quarters and blew off Dobby, and didn't remember his name. That was great! XD And Sev's being a nice bastard...does that make sense? He wants to play mind games with Harry, but then helps the boy when he's so distressed...Wait a minute, does that mean he HAS a heart?! Holy crap! lol This was very good, and I can't wait until I have time to read more! Have a chocolate frog for doing so well! ^-^ Author's Response: Ivy, I was so surprised to wake up and see that you reviewed! I was like yay! Welcome to the wonderful joys of Flurry (the cat), which you'll learn about later. She has a story behind her, and I think you'll like it. I promise not to tell Sev that you said that was the cutest thing you've heard all week. lol. ;) I don't think he'd appreciate it. Harry hasn't much lost his magic, but it's just not working at the moment... Sev totally has a heart and you'll see more of it as you read. There's quite a few twists waiting for you, and I should be writing the next one right now but there's a program about Tolkien and LOTR on History right now. I am totally in geek heaven for the hour. lol. Thanks and I can't wait to see what you think as you read more.
Author's Response: Thanks! I love little Harry, but I couldn't ever write a complete novel-length story with Harry as a little kid. I like the drama and possibilities that a teenage Harry brings. However, you'll see bits of a baby Harry in my fest fic. ;) Voldemort wasn't happy, that's for sure and we'll see how long he stays quiet. He hasn't told me his plans yet.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm not sure if Voldemort will keep his ugly head down. He hasn't informed me of his plans yet. ;) Occlumency is going to be loads easier for Harry this time. It's amazing what a difference it makes when both Harry and Severus wish to succeed.
I'm happy also that Snape told Harry that he doesn't hate him anymore. I can't wait to read more about Flurry and I'm really looking forward to the next chappie. Great chappie as usual, Ella. Author's Response: Thanks, Pandora! People say Harry has a saving people thing, but I think Sev has a saving Harry thing. ;) It was important for Harry to hear that Severus doesn't hate him, and I think this was the right moment for it. I'm not sure if Flurry will be in the next chapter or not, but there promises to be lots of Severus.
Author's Response: I think Voldemort won't give up summoning Snape just because he knows he's protecting Harry. Voldemort likes to torture people, and he won't give up that opportunity while he has the chance. Thanks!
I have no cold weather yet but lots of rain when it hit -1 Celsius I will happily send it your way. Post soon Author's Response: Thanks! Voldemort is definitely cruel. He likes to torture people just for the "fun" of it.
Author's Response: I love how you pick up the little things I write. I'm always interested in seeing if people pick up those small things like Severus' command for Harry to look at his eyes and the beach connection. We'll find out why Harry's scar bled. The reason isn't as sinister as you think. I think Severus that even when he's a jerk has a certain set of morals pertaining to children. He'll be nasty and harsh to them, but child abuse is one of those lines not to be crossed. Whether Harry's childhood involved physical abuse or not remains to be seen, but neglect and verbal abuse can be more harmful than physical abuse. It's too bad that new anti-emetic isn't working for Harry, isn't it? *excited for more angst* lol. Torturing characters is always fun. Snape is still watching out for Harry's mental state, so he knows he can't just force Harry to speak about the Dursleys. Voldemort has nothing to do with the way Dumbledore's acting. That's something I can tell you for sure. lol. Sev will be featured in the next chapter, and yes it has something to do with the letter. ;) Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks! Voldemort always underestimated Sev, so it's great for him to show Voldemort that he's not any ordinary wizard. Trust is building, which is huge, but there's a few things that might put a bump in that road...
Author's Response: Thanks! The next chapter promises to bring some Severus related angst that'll be fun to read and write. ;) |
