    So far while Bellatrix and Severus took Harry in they seem rather uncaring parents, more as if they are using him. What parents leave for vacation or a honeymoon, let alone plan a wedding without first telling their child that they are doing so and who they will be staying with? Their entire attitude shopping was so abrupt and rude, very uncaring for Harry's first year at Hogwarts, something that is suppose to be special for a magical child.

    Oh wow! Severus is still in love with Lily, and only Lily can call him Sev, is that it?

    Great chapter. I'm really enjoying how you portray Belatrix and Severus. You keep Bella a little nasty still and it's more believable that way.

    So is it a good thing, or a bad thing that Dumbledore knows about Harry? Interested to see what happens next.

    Author's Response: Severus will always love Lily, even if he's married someone else and Sev is Lily's name for him, no one elses. I'm glad you find Bellatrix believeable. People don't change overnight, and even ten years is too short a time to change propoganda of a lifetime. I'm not really sure if it's good or bad that Dumbledore knows about Harry, it could end up going both ways. Thanks for your reivew!

    Is Minerva upset also by the muggle-born acts?

    How on earth are they going to keep Dumbledore from finding out aboutHarry. Now, I'm worried. I hope that the Occlumency helps.

    It' so strange to see Bella as a doting, overprotective mother that makes her son eat vegetables!! Too cute.

    Love this story.

    Great chapter! I wonder if Harry will really get into Slytherin? And who was the boy? Thanks for the update! I can't wait for the next one.

    Author's Response: Harry's wanting to get into Slytheirn might make him end up there. The hat does take the person's preferance into account. The boy is featured more in the next chapter.     Poor Draco! And here I thought he was all right. I hope he gets better. I liked the shopping trip, especially when they went to the Apothecary and Harry knew how to tell the best ingredients. But Bellatrix might want to watch out how she talks about Muggleborns, ord oesn't she know about Sev & Lily?

    That was some chapter I almost thought harry was going to die and Draco too. I'm glad they were found and that both of them were okay. Looks like Harry's back to his old self again.

    You've got an interesting premise, but you're failing at consistency, both in timelines and characterizations, repeatedly. Severus and Bellatrix have been sharing living space and Harry for almost a decade, not just over five years. Bella found out about Muggle techniques the morning Harry is taken to Andromeda's clinic the first and only time and spends that day in a waiting room or Andromeda's house while Severus is always at Harry's side, yet they get married that afternoon with an appointment and scheduled witnesses and robes, etc. And if Professor Black has been teaching at Hogwarts for ten years, she'd not need reminding of Muggleborn students. Plus - there was no DADA professor two months into the school year when she arrived? Please take a few minutes to draw a timeline and fully think through the impression those years had on the characters. It really won't take much to move this from good idea to good story.

    Author's Response: Thanks for your suggestoins and the things you pointed out. There are answers to most of this and I have a basic timeline, I'm trying not to rush the story and include everything at once. I skipped time on purpose. I am going to explain more in later chapters. Thanks you for your review and for the points you've made.

    Oh very interesting. I wonder who the boy is. Ron? Draco?

    I thought that Harry was going to ask more questions when Olivander seemed to know everyone.

    Great chapter, can't wait for the next one.

    Author's Response: Glad you liked the chapter. I was worried that it wasn't very intersting. Harry's been trained to save his questions for a more secure location. Asking anything in public could have revealed his true identity and none of the family wants that. Thanks for your review!
