Nice, I liked how you tricked us into thinking Snape was wiping away a tear--very clever. Nice work!

    -P.G.

    Author's Response:

    P.G,

Trick you, never! Thank-you, glad to hear it.

Snape does seem to be trying! Good! I really like how you showed Harry's insecurity by having him knocking at Severus' office in the middle of the night, muttering to himself. After all, I don't think Snape should be the only one having doubts about this. Good work!

    -P.G.

    Author's Response:

    P.G,

Yeah, Snape is trying. Thanks, I adored your comment and you're so right! Snape isn't the only one with doubts but whilst the man is doubting himself, Harry is doubting basically everything. I really wanted to show that. Thanks for the review and your comments!

It's moving slow, but that makes sense. I like the Snape and Harry interaction and I'm anxious to see Snape realize Harry is a different person than the one he's been going on about. Still, I'm enjoying your view of thse characters.

    Author's Response:

    Justjoanjm,

Yeah it has to move realistically or else there's not as much point. I'm thrileld by your comments, thanks. Snape will realize some things about Harry soon ;). Thank-you, I'm glad.

Perfect. I love the fact that in just that brief moment Snape feels it is a weakness. It is so . . . Snapeish!! Great job!!

    Author's Response:

    Starbuck,

Lol, yeah I'm glad you think so and see it as that for I agree. Thanks!

I am surprised that Sev didn't ask Harry about the dream. I know that he doesn't understand that a parent is suppose to, but knowing how Lily died I would have thought that it would strike his curiosity.

    Author's Response:

    Hawkswench,

He will, but he was also taken a little by surprise and as much as he loves Lily he also is still haunted by what he could of have and the fact that she is gone. True, he doesn't understand what a parent is supposed to do, but he's learning. Thanks.

Aw, that was actually really sweet. Snape is worried about Harry, but would never let on, would he?

I hope that they get to a point where Harry can confide in Snape.

Nice chappie! I'm looking forward to more of Harry and Snape, and I hope that Harry begins to trust Snape more, and that Snape will continue to become attuned to Harry's feelings.

    Author's Response:

    Pandora,

Thanks for your review! And yeah, I thought it was rather sweet, but have more planned. Indeed, he is concerned, but as if he would let that on...well, not yet anyway :P. Yeah Harry will be able to confide in Snape at some point, perhaps even soon but I doubt it'll be his decision to.

Glad to hear it and thanks. Yeah, it's gonna take some time for Harry to trust Snape completly, but Snape is the one crumbling into the situation the fastest (in terms of how he's starting to be concerned and falling into his role a little more subconciously), so yeah!

I meant parts like "He said, refering to[...]", which readers remotely familiar with Severus' life figure out easily themselves, and the general openness of AD's speech, uncharacteristic for him. One would expect more interplay and mind-games from two wizards such as them. That's why I felt that the first third of the chapter was a bit shallow, even in comparison with the following 2/3. The interaction with Harry turns out to be less predictable, thus more interesting ^^ (I hope you don't mind me leaving reviews that, because I honestly think your fic is nice, if rough, and I hope you keep developing as an author and write more good fic *nodnod*)

    Author's Response:

    DoC brown,

Thank-you, for more details. I don't mind, no one is perfect and I do wish to improve. Although I do not believe that everyone has read the last Harry Potter book or that are all completly sure of all these details, so just to make sure that everyone is on the same page for these things may or may not be important to the story, I felt the need to add them. Although I do understand where you are coming from and I will try to lessen those things when I can, but sometimes it's just necessary for the story :P. Thanks though, I do like people pointing these things out; now that I'm aware I'll try to prevent it seemingly like I think you're all dumb or something lol. :P
