Ooh, Sevy's changing his mind! Maybe?

I love it. Oh, please update soon!

Harry needs a dad. I can't believe he wants Snape, but it makes sense. Great chappie, and too funny as well.

    Author's Response:

    Pandora,

He's certainly doubting his 'NO" now, but still got a bit to go :P. Glad you love it, and I will update soon. Harry does need a dad, indeed. Thanks for the review.

I LOVE this story. Thanks for updating so quickly. I hope you have a lot of chapters in mind.

    Author's Response:

    Starbuck1332,

Thanks, glad to hear it! And you're welcome. I do have a lot of chapters in mind; it will be a rather long fic. I'm currently starting on chapter 13 right now :P Thanks.

That was powerful. I really like the guilt that Dumbledore laid on quite thickly for Severus and I love that he started to doubt when he was left alone with his own thoughts. Poor guy, he knows Dumbledore is manipulating him and I think he knows that he probably will come around anyway since Lily is involved.

Poor Harry. At least he's not too down and out.

    I can't wait for more!

    -P.G.

    Author's Response:

    P.G,

Powerful? Wow, thanks :P. Dumbledore is indeed manipulative and it is influencing Snape as well, but there is no denying the fact that Lily is involved so Snape can't really turn away from the situation. And you're right, Harry isn't coping greatly but he's still rather determined. I'll update again soon and thanks for your review!

Harry is wize beyond his years, poor folk.
Chapter is marvellously written. Snape's reactions are priceless! (about asylum *lol*) Poor man, can imagin how distressing is all this.
Great pleasure and fun to read your story. Thank you very much! *Hover near, waiting for next update*

    Author's Response:

    Wyrsa,

Indeed. And thanks! I take pride in any comment about my writing :). The asylum comment was one of the first things I thought about for this fic. I was considering the idea and writing it and it popped into my mind when I pondered "How would Snape react, once he was over his speechless-ness?). Haha. And yes, I too feel rather sympathetic for him hehe. Any child asking this would shock him, but a Potter AND Lily's son? He'll need a headache potion.

I'm thrilled that you enjoy my story that much, I enjoy writing it an reading reviews just as much. You're welcome. Will update asap (most likely tomorrow).

    -Mel :)

"What are friends for if not to join you in your most insane ideas?"
    That line's brill! *lol*
The question about family was neat. For once give your teacher something to work on after classes.
Great chapter! First part was pure pleasure and fun, but actual speech touched.
Wonder what the answer will be.

    Author's Response:

    Myrsa,

Haha, yeah! The family question sort of slipped its way in there and now it's actually a crucial part of the fic and Snape's mindset involving the question, when he actually thinks on it.

It makes me feel very proud that comment about the pleasure/fun and then touched, it was part of what I had been hoping for :D. Thanks for reviewing.

Pretty complicated all the way around, isn't it? I expect Harry would be pretty upset, but then I understand Snape's reaction. Harry should have given him time to think it over, thoug a forcible ejection will interfere with that, won't it? And you can't FORCE a man to parent a random child, can you? It's hard enough getting them to parent their own sometimes. LOL I'll be watching for the next installment.

    Author's Response:

    Justjoanjm,

Yes it is a complicated situation! Harry isn't too happy, no but that's to be expected. Snape certainly (or anyone for that matter) just agree to such a question right away, they need time to think about it, you're right :P. And yes Snape just wanted that boy out of his office because in his mind, the question and concern went with him (he wished).

True, no one can force anyone to parent a child, theirs or not. Although it's not exactly a random child to Snape, it's Lily's child. :). And I'll update soon, glad to hear you're looking forward to more.

I like that you are having Snape firmly saying, "no, no, no!" for a while and then he starts to think. That is very much Snape. And your Harry is lovely in this. Poor Harry. Grr to Dumbledore.

    Author's Response:

    Raven Knight,

I figured that it would be more to Snape's character with the "no, no. no!" and then actually thinking...right on what you said and I'm thrilled it is very much how he would react. I like Harry in ths fic as well because he's not just some grudge-holding, temper-filled hero. He's more realistic as a human being here, or so I thought so anyway. For he is just a orphaned boy and he deserves a family etc, I wanted him to see that and realize that he could have it.

I always Grr Dumbledore, lol. But what sepcifically in this chapter causes you to "grr" him? Just out of curiosity :P. Thanks for the review.

Yay to Harry for rendering Snape speechless! Ha! And what an evil cliffie! Glad I didn't check for updates until now, and do not have to wait. This is so interesting!

    Author's Response:

    Raven Knight,

Yes, Snape is indeed speechless, but cal you blame him lol? I'd love to see the look on his face! Yeah, I admit I would have screamed had I been given the cliffhanger and had to wait, you're lucky to avoid it than :P. I'm happy to hear that the fic is interesting for you, it makes it more worth the while when people think those things :P
