    So, does the magic react only when Harry is IN danger, or when he BELIEVES he's in danger..? If its the later having him develop an anxiety disorder would be... interesting, to say the least.

    Aw, what a lovely Christmas! It's so wonderful of Severus to give Harry a happy holiday. It was very sweet of Harry to worry over what to give his father and the solution with the cookies seemed perfect. I'm sure the elves didn't mean to ruin things, but I can understand why Harry would be so devastated. But Severus handled the situation perfectly. I'm sure they'll both laugh at the memory one day.

    Disturbing that Quirill has the cloak though. I wouldn't want to be him when Severus discovers the truth!

    A very nice story with an original - non canon - idea and my favourite characters. I'm looking forward to the discoverx of the assassin and the developing garry's and severus' bond!

    I am really loving this story. I think I started reading it a while ago, but couldn't find it again after that time. I'm glad I found it again because it had been updated quite a bit since then. I'm hoping you continue with it.

    Great chapter. I'm glad ron sent the note and anyone who is a parent knows you do whatever it takes to show the kids you love them, even eating floor cookies.
