if the basilisk can give snape parseltongue, it can definitely give harry parseltongue damn and here i thought that harry was also a natural parselmouth through his mom
if the snakes can speak parseltongue they're real snakes OR animagi who are parselmouths i'm confident they're snakes; i'm just saying, there's a loophole.

i DEEPLY AND THOROUGHLY AGREE WITH SNAPE there is no degree of physical punishment that's acceptable nor emotional/psychological punishment; by that i mean insults and saying things like you are a bad child
this was fun but i'm infuriated that draco saw harry's invisibility cloak and also that dumbledore was such a dumbass he didn't make sure harry received it privately and that draco of course is blabbing about what could have been an excellent secret advantage that now LUCIUS MALFOY KNOWS also i hope harry thinks more about house elves because with luck harry will be at least disturbed by dobby's behavior maybe dobby will pester harry about how he has to be careful around dark wizards and then punish himself and he'll be so pathetic and unhappy harry will suggest taking him off the malfoy's' hands to reduce everyone's stress and it's not like they'd be losing a very helpful house elf
i bet marcus' torso was blocking the bludger's shot at harry's head, and quirrell didn't want to give snape the chance to actually stop it the pelvis is the second-most dangerous place to receive blunt trauma due to pelvic bleeding the most of course is the head, which is why i feel confident that the bludger couldn't immediately get to it not that voldemort gives a damn about collateral damage, but if it smashed into flint his body would cushion the bludger too much for it to smash open harry's head the unprotected pelvis was the best option love that snape's an animagus! DON'T love that snape is implied to maybe have a crush on charity. she probably teased him about how paternal he was acting towards harry. snape probably spent more of the game watching harry than the players.
i do wonder why fred and george are only second years and not third years like in canon? are there plans that require them to be only a year apart rather than two?
what's funny is that if people were normal about parselmouths and knew harry was one, they'd hardly worry about the snake at all you have or have had a snake you know it's venomous and not poisonous do the characters not know? a funny way i like to describe the difference is venomous means if i bite you, you die, and poisonous means if you bite me, you die i wonder if lucius was partly secretly hoping dumbledore would say no because that way it isn't lucius' fault draco is rather spoiled but he seems fairly good-hearted for all that and at least he's not DANGEROUSLY spoiled and given things he wants whether or not they're good for him
