And why would Dumbles want to give Snape a thrashing? Is he worried that Snape will take away his golden toy soldier?

It was a nice touch having McGonagall know the truth so that she could verify what Harry was telling Snape. Now that Harry has been bitten, I wonder if Snape will be able to get over some of his dislike of werewolves in general. Looking forward to your next update.
