Very touching. It was perfectly angsty, with a glimmer of hope at the end. I would describe this story as a dark maroon, with droplets falling from the parchment that it was written on and becoming steadily darker as they fall and just before they hit the ground they become black, but at the very end of the story there is a flare of white. Amazing job with this.
