    Sneaky watercrystals! I'm glad that Jack is going to be able to stay with Severus, Harry and Erin until he goes to Hogwarts and, perhaps, beyond. His family didn't put up much resistance to Jack's leaving. I wonder if they had some notion that Jack was different but were more passive about their unease.

    Author's Response: Thanks :P. Jack's family didn't put up as much resistance mostly because their mind was only occupied with Jack's brother Michael. They would have had some suspicion of Jack being different, but in the last number of years they weren't paying as much attention, but yes your comments are on the right track too.     Ahhhh no way!! :D I don't remember any hints of magic in Jack from before but I guess I really just didn't expect it!! That was an amazing chapter!

    Argh, I didn't get notifications that this updated! Again! Maybe you should get it checked out with an admin. Lol, anyways this was a wonderful surprise!

    And I especially loved that last scene where Harry reverts to this past apellation for his father. It was really sweet to see such a bonding moment between father and son. Plus, the fact that he would have spilled all to Severud had he asked says a lot about how highly Harry thinks of him. Please update again soon, I'm really looking forward to reading more!

    How cute! I loved how this turned out and I can't wait for the shopping trip. That's sure to be amusing for the boys. I loved this.

    I was hoping that Jack would be magical,but i didnt want to get my hopes up in case it wasnt so. I passed the hints of Jacks magic as Harry and called it a day..I'm super excited for the next chapter now :)

    I was amused to see that Frogabook is still around after 3 years. I wonder what the life span of a magically created creature is? Sam and his family moving away was a sad surprise. He and Harry are such friends and he has been such a big part of the story that I wonder if we will all be surprised by a Hogwarts letter coming to Sam on his birthday.

    Author's Response: I assume you meant "Jack" instead of "Sam" ? And I haven't added anything in the story about it yet, but Frogabook doesn't really age for many reasons. Iw ill get around to explaining that eventually :P Jack has been a bit part of Harry's pre-Hogwarts life, yes. Even so, Jack doesn't receive any mail on his birthday, magical or otherwise.     I love your story. I love the interaction between Severus and Harry plus the friendship Harry has with Jack. Everyone needs a friend like Jack. I look forward to reading your next chapter.
