thanks for the update-I really enjoyed it. As for the conflict--How about having Severus "mistake" some action of Harry's as being inappropriate--maybe he overhears something Harry says to Ron-possably in defence of Snape- but because he only heard a part of it he gets mad and acts like his "normal" self to Harry. So Harry gets Hurt-and reacts with teen-angst -etc.
Thanks again V.
comments? i love the story:D and at this point i dont really care about the exact direction the story takes. the only thing that i want to see is chapter 11..and 12...and 13...and...:)
This was such a cute chap! I loved the conversation with albus and snape! He's so fatherly to him! And now Snape's feeling that way for Harry! I LOVE IT! Christmas I hope is wonderful! :D please update soon!!!!
Does Snape know the state of Harry's clothes, as I don't think Harry would appreciate being taken to shop for clothes and then Snape nit picks at the choices. Harry is just used to getting left overs.
Excellent story! I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter. I promise to review them all from now on. I loved the conversation between Snape and Dumbledore with Snape realizing he has these feelings. My suggestion for Ron and Hermione is to keep the three together as strong friends, as they had been throughout the canon books. It is a central and, in my view, essential part of the Harry Potter world. Ginny, too, can be a lovely girlfriend or little sister figure in his life. I love stories that show these kids as strong fighters for "right" and as loyal friends. That's how they were in canon and it worked well for JKR. I doubt they'd take Harry's need for Snape very well at first but if they all truly care for Harry they'd easily see how much happier and healthier he is and be grateful to Snape for that. As for conflict, presumed betrayal that isn't kept up for too long often and in the end, strengthens the bond works well. You have some very resentful Slytherins there. Maybe one or more of them... Draco possibly as he knows Snape well in many stories...could plant something for Snape to find that appears to have been written/done by Harry and that hurts Snape would work. Then you could show Harry's strength in his desire to fix what went wrong and prove his innocence. Just a suggestion, though, I'm sure whatever you come up with will be excellent reading.
i think the whole going home for christmas part has plenty of conflict. Harry may feel safe but taking him out of the castle and alone with snape defintly opens up a whole new situation for him.
Hugs to Sev because the thoughts are all confusing but he is doing his best to handle
Awesome chapter. I'd love to see more growing interaction and understanding between Severus and Harry. And I would love to see them spending Christmas together. Not sure about the others and not sure about a conflict either. Looking forward to more though :)

Wonderful story. You capture the contrary emotions of an abused child very well, and I am really enjoying this story. :D
