The loss Harry feels at having to leave (aaargh, meddling Dumbledore!) and his painful feelings of loneliness are so palpable.
That is a very fitting and satisfying retribution for the Dursleys.
That was a lovely moment between Harry and Snape, though realistic with its abrupt end.
Delightful banter over dinner. I just realized that I have, indeed, left reviews for this story before. I’m going to leave more from this read-through anyway though, as it’s such a wonderful story.
Harry’s explanation was nicely self-reflective. I love how Snape is giving it to Harry straight.
Harry’s display of childish vulnerability was simply beautiful.
Amazing chapter. I loved the fireside confession.
I love the idea of burning relicts of the past in a fire pit.
I love Snape’s inner voice - it’s prescient and compassionate, tempering his outward behavior. Totally brilliant.
Terrific chapter. I love Harry’s response to Snape’s kindness.
