    I love the idea that Lily introduced Snape to Gobstones to create a link to his mother - a link he only discovered later on in life. And now he feels she is doing something similar with regards to Harry. What an amazing way to show us Lily’s deep compassion and part of why she was so special to Snape.

    Absolutely beautiful chapter, as Harry reveals his vulnerability and Snape feels stirrings of protectiveness. Simply beautiful.
