    So beautiful and sad.....i was confused about something though. Did/Will Harry find out about Severus loving Lily?

    Author's Response: Thanks ^^. In this story, Snape still died at Voldemorts hand in the Shrieking Shack and he still gave Harry his memories (although one of them, where Snape discovered Harry was a horcrux, was slightly different); therefore, Harry saw that Snape loved Lily. However, Snape held back his memories of being Shadow because he didn't wish to discompose Harry before the final hurdle; he was already spinning the boy's world on it's access and realising that the man he'd just watched die was a. his childhood friend and b. always cared about him would have seriously messed Harry up!

    Awwww, that was a very good story and very sad at the end. I still loved it though even though Sevvy died. I still liked.

    Author's Response: Thanks: I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the sad ending. What I wanted to do was simply add a chapter (or two) to the canon; the battle of Hogwarts still happened, Snape still died but, in this fic, there was more to his relationship with Harry than met the eye.

    Where precisely is the Character Death warning?!

    Sorry, I didn't think it needed an additional 'Character Death' warning as a. the story is just following the canon and b. I did mark this as a 'Tragedy' (which does rather suggest that there won't be a happy ending). Moreover, the moderator who uploaded this story didn't add the warning, perhaps because they also felt it was unneccesary. It's a bit disappointing to receive a review like this; I don't mind constructive critizism but to curtly complain about a trivial detail is a bit rude, don't you think? I would certainly never behave this way to a fellow author.

    What a beautiful story, Morgana! I wish that Harry and Severus could have reconciled in life, but it was a perfect bittersweet ending. I love Severus as a black swan...very original too! I only wish there were more!

    Author's Response: Thanks ^^: although the story is very sad, I think the tragedy does rather suit the 'fairytale' theme. I'm glad you liked my idea for Severus' animagus form.

    That is SOOOOOO wonderful! Well, tragic that Snape died before he could resolve things with Harry, but wonderful that Harry found out the truth at last. (Makes me wonder HOW Snape would have admitted it... "By the way, Potter, I am a swan..." Nahhhh!!! LOVED this story to the very hilt! Thanks for a wonderful tale!

    Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I think, if Severus had the chance, he'd probably attempt to make amends over his behaviour first then, when the time felt right, he might confide in Harry. (Or, possibly, take the cowards way out and just leave his pensieve lying around lol!)

    awwww... What a tangy-sweet chapter! I just love the little poem that Harry wrote for the card he made for Shadow! I have to admit that I suspected the swan might be Snape from the first time he appears. I mean, a BLACK swan... YES! Wonderful chapter all the way through. I especially like the way you framed it within the story with Hagrid and Ron and Hermione. Nice going!

    Author's Response: Thanks ^^; Bil wanted a bit of Hermione if possible and I thought writing the first chapter as a story within a story would be a good way of achieving this (as well as enabling me to let slip a few details ^^). I thought the swan would be rather recognisable lol: there's something so dramatic about black swans and ol' Sev is nothing if not dramatic!
