    THANK YOU I LOVE THE BASILISK i've always wished she could have had a different ending

    even an ordinary boa constrictor, when harry spoke to it, seemed intelligent 

    i can't imagine the intelligence of a magical creature at least a thousand years old

    she must have known so much history :(
