Very suspenseful chapter, just waiting for Harry to get caught. I really like how Snape shows his concern for Harry through his regular snark and nasty attitude. You did a great job with his personality here!
Great chapter; I loved your depiction of what's going on in Harry's mind, the rationalisation of his abuse, the attempt to create and excuse for his bruises, the invented reasons why he doesn't want to go for the exam- they're all highly believable and well written. I also really liked how you're portraying his feelings over Neville; it's very vivid and emotive. Oh, and the scene with Snape is great ^^

You're doing a wonderful job with this story. I love the little details, like Harry waiting for Neville to come out of the bathroom or his clumsy attempt at staging a Quidditch accident. Everyone's very much in character, and the story flows really well. Looking forward to more!
Uh oh. I can hardly wait for the next chapter. It's gonna be fun fun fun!!! Update soon!!! Please! It's killing me!
Uh oh. Looks like the truth will have to come out now. Poor Harry.
Aww nice! He won't be escaping now, it seems! Plus, I doubt that "detention" is really a "detention." Great job, please update soon!
Yah, another update. love this story. Hope Sev and Remus help Harry. Great Job.
"This morning he’d woken early. Because of Neville’s empty bed, he’d waited a full five minutes before using the bathroom. Until he’d woken up properly, he assumed Neville was in there. It had made him feel stupid and it had also given him an almost physical feeling of disorientation. It was a little like dizziness, like the vertigo of doing one too many barrel rolls on a broom. The world had changed shape and he hadn’t recognized the new shape."
So good! I'm jealous.
