I get the impression that changing the subject or declaring it "late" when he doesn't like what's being said is another strategy Dumbledore uses to spare himself anxiety.
Good chapter :)
So Siri is staying with Harry for the time being--and as he knows A LOT about what has been going on, he really can watch out for his god-son. And he will most likely see how Good Sev is for harry as well.
Can't wait to see what comes next!
Thanks for the update V

I like what you've done with the characters. I really like what you've done with Snuffles.
And that detail about catching the screws was kind of beautiful. Very telling, very true.
(And Draco Malfoy is obviously the product of that potion, which really seems to overcompensate. Harry looks JUST LIKE James. Draco looks JUST LIKE his father. And so on.)
Awesome chapter. Loved the development with the arthritis. And the scene with the dog was truly dramatic! I was scared for Harry when he realized he had fallen asleep and it was almost midnight. He must have been really exhausted. I wonder what will become of that, and I wonder what Snape has planned for Snuffles. Great chapter! Love the story. Thank you for the update!
Well, I wonder what will come of Snuffles? Good chapter :)
hmmm...i can't wait for what happens next!
All I ever say in my reviews, I think, is Great Chapter! I loved your description of Snape's "strange, almost gentle" voice.
Wonderful story.

Don't know how archaic a word is that so many people in the UK still use. I doubt a stone is any older a unit of measure than a foot. Love the chapter. So does Snape think the dog is Harry's familiar? I like Sirius better as a dog anyway.
