Great story. Awesome job so far!
I like the entire story. Minerva's reaction is just as I imagined it to be.
great story so far. Looking forward to more. I like the fact that you don't have Harry and Snape automatically accepting each other and the situation. Good scene with Minerva too. Intolerant old cat! I also feel that Harry's responses ring true. You've done an exemplary job so far. Thank you for sharking your work.

Exceptional storyline and characterizations. I read a LOT of fanfiction and you have really impressed me with your writing. I hope you continue to update.
Interesting interchange between the adults. I also enjoyed the rest of the Hogsmeade visit.

This was a wonderful chapter. You are a very compelling author. Minerva was pretty nasty to Severus but given her severe nature, emotional stress, and exhaustion, we can at least comprehend her rudeness.
I am glad Severus is recognizing Harry does not resemble James (except in looks) as much as he thought. I still wonder as to why he thought Harry would. (I would assume the kid has no conscious memory of James.)
Snape sure seemed cold when meditating on getting Molly and Arthur’s “cooperation to take the child off his hands…” But then a few lines later you soften him with his musing about the healing of Harry’s crushed hand. I also appreciated his knowledge that he did not wish to disappoint the child. This helped alleviate him coldly stating he had no interest in maintaining custody. I am thinking detachment is one of Snape’s coping mechanisms. It is also very clear he did not ever think of Harry as his. I am concerned about Ginny . If this is the year after the diary/possession incident she would be understandably traumatized. Does she have a crush on Harry in this story? It is interesting she and Harry are so overwhelmed by their own distress - they do not seem able to consider how oddly each other are acting.
I am also (of course) very worried about Harry. Thirteen is not an easy age for anyone, but this kiddo has been through more than most. I hope the people at the meeting take care with him. I fear it would do a great deal of damage for him to discover (at least at this point) that Snape is his biological father. I think it would be one more, in a string of people, who do not like or want him. (Snape has been aware of their connection after all.) It may also shake his belief that James would have really loved him - if he had known the full truth of his parentage.
This is tremendously good, thought provoking, angsty stuff – my favorite! You are doing marvelous job. Oh, and I loved the wonderful comeback line about no one in all of Britain having children if the qualification was based on Snape’s dislikes. I think you are doing a very good job with Severus’ characterization and his changes in perception.
Thank you for Sharing! I love your regular updates but am always left desperate for more…
aww poor Harry and Snape it hurts me to c Sev being so..indifferent towards his real "relationship" w/ Harry i hope things improve soon ur doing a wonderful job! keep up the good wrk n update soon!!

Minerva just refuses to understand, the stubborn old battleaxe. Using the memory as proof is something most fics overlook. I think this is really good. More Please?
