    Yes! New chapter! You're so regular with them, I'm getting spoiled. XD

    I reeeally like your Snape. I wanna see where his role is going. o.O (mooore Snape please)

    The actual Severitus-explanation-part wasn't bad. XD I liked it. The fact that he didn't love her 'like that' makes a good reason for her to choose him. He's probably a 'safer' choice without that complication. Anyway, yay! Thanks for the update!

    I'm glad you like my Snape.

    Yes, he was a very safe choice for Lily.  And Lily probably worried that Sirius might have the same defect, Remus was right out due to the werewolf thing and Peter was also a Pure Blood.  Much safer to go with a Half blood.

    Lily stopped pacing, to look at him with a little smile on her lips, "Still?"

    Severus sighed, with a small, sad, fond smile of his own, "Still."

    Awww...Sweet!

    The chapter was somehow, awkward, but judging from the subject it dwelled on, it'll be strange if it wasn't.

    But the last part was infinitely sweet... Couldn't keep my huge sheepish grin away.. :P

    Oh, I loved the way you used the lyrics, although, if I could point out, I think Kate Bush was English, not Irish. :)

    Oh gosh, you're quite right!  Thank you.  I'm not sure why I didn't check that...I'll fix it.

    I tried to do this chapter without making it buckets-of-awkward, but there was no way to avoid *some* awkwardness :-)

    I'm glad you enjoyed the sweetness.

    This was phenomenally well written and I really enjoyed it! The only thing that didn't sit well with me is Severus not liking Lily "in that way." The *only* way I can see that is if your Severus is gay. Otherwise, he definitely loves Lily more than a friend and always has.
