Your doing a great job! Don't lose motivation; you have many fans!
After Harry's rant about lying last chapter, what will his reflection on Remus' answer be? Might he detect something suspicious in the response?

hmmm what a mysterious letter! I wonder what the crusade could be. I liked the interaction with Ron and Hermione - it was realistic. I hope Lily didn't do anything too bad; though it's nice to see she's likely to be a 3-dimensional character! Post soon, please!

I am so happy that you have updated this story! I like how Harry told off Hermione. I adore the girl but she can be a bit much. Sometimes, it is like she feels it is her right to be the smartest one in class. When will Harry tell Ron and Hermione about Toby being Professor Snape's son? Will Harry tell Severus about Toby soon rather than after the war? Remus' letter to Severus is both illuminating and I can't wait to hear Severus' response. Please update again soon! Also, when will you update "A Tale of Emerald Eyes"?

I'm not sure I would consider that Remus actually lied when it was more of a misdirection. He never came out and said Yes Harry James in your father and no one else. Other then the hair (which Harry admitted that he hadn't washed in a few days)and his new found liking to Potions (which Lily enjoyed too)Harry didn't give any real reason for his suspicion to being Snape's son. Harry even excused why he was so grumpy lately. But yes I can see a fall out between Remus and Harry because Remus knew what Harry wanted and didn't tell him the truth.
That was brilliant. I can't believe that Remus lied to Harry though, that's not going to go down well when he finds our! Glad to see you're continuing with the story. CFx
wow! this is probably one of my favorite snape/harry fictions...... if anyone had said let's add a little brother to the mix i would have dismissed it. But you are able to pull it off perfectly!!! as your biggest fan can i talk you into posting another chapter really soon....like now!!! lol!! please don't give up the motivation!!!! i have to see it to the end!!!! muah!!!
Yep! I do! You could have the Death Eaters enter the castle by first sending in Ministry Officials who are on Voldemort's side. You could have them be there to have a meeting with Voldemort-and since Lucius Malfoy is on the board of governors you could have one of them use Dumbledore's floo to contact him. In a discussion with the Headmaster-one could say he needs to speak to a board member-and with his head in the floo give the ok to the death eaters to enter. With a charm or the right spell, the Death Eater could open all the Fireplaces in the castle where the rest of Death Eaters could enter and hit the castle by surprise! This could happen when all students are at the Great Hall this way no one sees how they got in. Plus since the Ministry Officials got their answer from their "board member", Prof. Dumbledore would be unable to see what is going on and so not realize what is happening or has happen in front of him. You could also portray the Headmaster as being slightly arrogant by believing no Death Eater would have the gall to send word to attack or attack the school in front of him, and so believe the officials to be innocent. Something Harry does not agree with and feels he needs to find out.
1) They could just storm the castle 2) They could find out somehow about one of the secret passages into the castle from Hogsmead 3) They could charm themselves to breath under water and swim in and under the castle (the way Hagrid takes the first years in boats under the castle via the lake. 4) Polyjuice potion... a death eater could sneak in and then somehow break the Floo wards and bring Death eaters in that way. 5) Another Slytherin who has joined the ranks could fix the vanishing cabinet and let them in. 6) Some of the death eaters could be animagi and sneak into the castle that way. 7) The death eaters could conceal themselves somehow either with potions of the notice-me-not sort or with notice-me-not sort of charms. 8)They could know of or discover some ancient secret entrance from the Forbidden Forest that goes into the dungeons or some other forgotten, lower part of the castle.
Hope these ideas helped.
