I discovered about 2 months ago that if I hiss like a cat at the neighbors' black mutt, he goes away.

Ooh, nifty idea! I don't believe I have seen this idea done before. Please continue, as I am looking forward to the next chapter! It's fitting that Harry would call Severus Seven too. I thought it was pretty funny that Harry called him Sev as a nickname! Not to mention, I do wonder what dear old Tuney will think of that!

I really like the way this has started! Harry's calm acceptance of the way things are at the Dursleys and his and cat!Sev's interaction so far are great. I am hoping, however, that Snape isn't *too* quick to side with Harry. Either way can't wait to see what happens next :)
