I started this, knowing it wasn’t finished, and I’m glad I did. I think this is the first time I’ve read what may have transpired between Severus and Albus that led to the latter’s death. And brilliantly done.
Of course, it goes without saying that I shall optimistically track this.

This is a great story! So well written!! Everyone is in character- its such a nice feeling!!
I hadn't realized that it was Albus calling for Severus. I was glad you included the scene of Severus working to save Dumbledore from the curse. Of course Harry would wake up with all the coming and going through the floo. Sounds like Harry is putting the pieces together of the relationship between his mother and Snape.
Severus learned the basics of healing fairly quickly. I'm sure Harry is horrified. At least they both got a decent meal. Looking forward to finding out what is wrong with Harry.
Severus was smart to get some additional training from Pomfrey. I'm glad that Dumbledore was able to see beyond Harry's explanation of what happened to him. The visit to the Dursleys will be interesting. I like the way you are portraying Dumbledore, especially his speech patterns. It reads the way he talks.
I was surprised that Dumbledore was so annoyed with Severus for confronting the Dursleys. Taking Harry along was a bad idea but Harry wouldn't take no for an answer and Snape had to find out their side of what happened. I wonder if Snape can convince Dumbledore that Harry is being abused?
I'm glad that Severus finally got Harry to the infirmary. Pomfrey's unpleasant attitude towards Snape was a surprise though. Not very professional.
At least Severus is beginning to see Harry as someone other than James Potter. Though he should have taken Harry to Hogwarts for treatment before he confronted the Dursleys.
So Severus finally found out what happened. I wonder what Vernon will tell him? Not anything that will keep Snape from wanting to do serious damage to Vernon.
