Reviews For Building Bridges
Author's Response: So glad to hear that. Thanks! misundersnape...
Author's Response: Glad you think so. Thanks! misundersnape...
Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you are enjoying. As for Snape's comment... I hear you, I shall give it some contemplation and consider alternatives, and if I find a better one I shall change it. Without changing the outcome, any suggestions? Thanks again. misundersnape...
Author's Response: Thank you! More coming soon... misundersnape...
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Harry is with an expert now... so he'll be feeling better soon. misundersnape...
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Oh, darn... you want me to explain? But... but I'm not a Potions Master, nor a Healer... *sigh* Well, though I never had any intention of detailing those particular details, I guess I could make something up to satisfy you... Hmm... Okay, well, it's directly linked to the ingredients used to compose all three of the potions, and Harry's poor condition. Blood loss, and therefore low blood pressure mainly, but he has a raging infection too that is taxing his organs. So the combination of some of the ingredients produces a new potion which is normally used to thin the blood, and low blood pressure, and diminished blood volume would strain his heart and the situatiuon would also starve it of nutients, ultimately causing heart damage. There, satisfied? *prays* ;) :D Suffice it to say a Healer would know there are more appropriate alternative potions should a patient need these symptoms addressed silmultaneously. I will also say that you will see why I didn't feel the need to go into detail in the next chapter - it's a moot point, really...
Poor Harry, he is torn between protecting his "family" and admitting to himself that things need to change. I hope Snape can get over his "Harry bloody Potter" attitude and help him... Looking forward to more! Author's Response: Thanks! I like how you phrased how Harry is torn between protecting his family, and admitting that he needs help to change things. I imagine that if it were anyone but the fearsome, potentially violent and dubiously loyaltied Snape that Harry would welcome intervention, but he's stuck with Snape and consequently he's too worried the man knows no boundaries. It's why he feared him at school, his behaviour and reactions have been unpredictable, or overly harsh and unfortunately Harry does not trust him to act appropriately. Mostly Harry wants the abuse/neglect by his relatives to stop, and to feel included and loved instead; he does not necessarily desire punishment for the Dursleys, which is what he's fearing Snape will do. Yes, I hear you about Severus' attitude toward Harry, it's frustrating that such an intelligent man gets so hung up on such a silly thing and can't see to it to treat a child as he should, irrelevant of the child's paternity. If I could get my hands on that man... *unintelligble, yet obviously dangerous threat grumbled* Thanks again. misundersnape...
Author's Response: Agree, poor Harry, he's definitely having a rough day. Thanks so much for the review! misundersnape...
