    Excellent story so far. I was wondering how long Harry would be able to hold it together. Surprisingly, a lot longer than I thought.

    Yes, poor Harry finally cracked.  But before he was too concerned and concentrating on stopping Snape from hurting his rellies... but now, well, he has a little moment of feeling sorry for himself.  Vomiting kinda does that to you, huh? lol ;)

    I think this is your best chapter so far!

    In response to your response - Haha, I love the repetition of that - when I said that it felt awkward in the beginning...hm... perhaps awkward was the wrong word for it. It's like, the beginning of both the first and second chapter felt rather squeezed of description, kind of rushed. The diction felt slightly stiff.

    Kinda make sense?

    However, this chapter was wonderful! It didn't have that all! It was much better, and oh so fun to read. :)

    Okay, I understand better what you meant and I'll go over the beginnings of both chaps with that issue in mind and see what I can improve.  Thanks for getting back to me.

    Great story so far! I really like how realistically you described the way Harry was injured, with tensions rising and everything. I also liked Vernon's brief moment of shock and regret; makes it much more believable in my opinion.

    The realism in this fic was the greatest focus, so I'm glad you felt I hit the mark.  And yes, Vernon, whilst a horrid beast, did not mean to injure Harry.  So whilst he momentarily felt shock and guilt, he very quickly buried it, swiftly falling into his nasty habit of blaming Harry for everything... even in this case when he was obviously culpable.
