Very nice. I didn't expect the part about Tom's mother. Good idea to bring her into the story! A great way to deal with Tom's infantile soul - much better than in DH.

I'm quite angry, actually. I've been reading along since you started posting. I don't comment often, I don't have time to. You need to bloody well include "character death" in your warnings. I enjoyed it right up into this chapter - I work 50 hours a week, go to school full time when I'm not at work, and I read HP fanfic to escape and enjoy the magic. I DO NOT READ character death fic, and I'm quite angry right now.
