Reviews For Through a Glass, Darkly
I'm quite engaged by this story, please continue all your hard work :] -Adrienne Author's Response: Mmmm, thank you! Do you by any chance know Narcissa Malfoy :)? Glad you like the story, thank you for the chocolate!
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you like where this is going! Next chapter should be up soon!
Or, if he really does not know about the injuries, then that open a whole different can of worms--one that has the figerprints of old snake face all over it. I loved the visit and the Dichotomy between Draco and Hermionie's views on the world. Thanks for the update. V. Author's Response: You're right, Snape won't get any information out of Harry just by asking! I'm glad you like Draco and Hermione; they're very different but both quite quirky in their own way, which makes them fun to write. Thank you for reviewing!
Author's Response: Poor old Lucius! But yes, I'd like to see his face, too :). Thank you for reviewing!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad I managed to get the sense of trust between Snape and Harry across; they're both not the type to speak openly about their feelings.
i hope u update soon! Author's Response: Thank you! The new chapter should be up today :)!
Author's Response: Thank you! As for the use of Latin, I always wondered why Hogwarts didn't teach any foreign languages - they could teach languages traditionally associated with witchcraft, like Latin, Greek or maybe Egyptian. So I thought that maybe Latin was taught at some point, and the older generation still remembers it. I'm glad you liked that little detail! Thank you for reviewing!
love the use of latin Severus is defintly in for a difficult convosation with Dmbles that is for sure Author's Response: Yes, Harry and Severus probably have a similar outlook on the world, i.e., a distrustful one. Thank you for reviewing, I'm glad you're enjoying the story!
In a few places I think you should work on your phrasing, as the story seems to lose its flow. Maybe reread it another time, and don't be afraid to make changes? Keep it up =] Author's Response: Thank you! And thanks for the heads-up on the phrasing, I'll try to improve that. It would be great if you could let me know what lines/passages you were referring to exactly; I don't have a beta for this story, so any advice is much appreciated. Thanks again!
Author's Response: I'm glad you like Snape and Draco; yes, Harry's lucky to have them. Thank you for reviewing! |
