Reviews For Through a Glass, Darkly
in any case, thanks for the great ride!
Great story. Thank you for finishing it!
Thanks for sharing your story! V,
Great story! I love it and will miss getting updates. In other words, I hope see more of your stories in the future. ~ Alexandra Author's Response: Poor Sev, indeed - he never expected that one! Thank you very much for your reviews, I'll miss getting them, too, and I hope the plot bunnies hop my way so I can post again soon!
I really enjoyed reading this story. The premise of Voldie having lodged himself in Harry instead of fleeing to Albania was a very unique and interesting plot twist, and I think you handled it very well. My favorite bit was when Harry was dead. I thought how you had him take care of baby Tom was sweet, and, really what should have been done in canon... Oh, I'd better not get started on my rant about the mistakes that Dumbledore made when he met Tom Riddle for the first time. Sorry about that! I found the story very, very satisfying, and I felt that you did a great job in keeping Snape in character despite the differences in the events he was experiencing from canon. (And I loved Marlowe!) Well done! Author's Response: Thank you very much for your thoughts! I'm glad you liked the premise of Harry being possessed - I was very impressed by the scene in OOTP when Voldemort acted through Harry, and I thought it would be even creepier to see him do it when Harry was still a little boy (Regan from "The Exorcist" comes to mind...). As for Tom Riddle, I have to say I agree that Dumbledore could have handled things differently, but then, this may have been how things were done at that time and age, when being an orphan still carried something of a stigma... anyway, I'm glad you liked the story, thank you for letting me know! |
