    Wow, long time no see. I'd quite forgotten about this story but after re-reading a bit, I realized why I had enjoyed it so much. Admittedly, the ending was a bit disappointing but not really unexpected. Still, it was a good read. Please do keep on writing!

    Wow. I don't know whether Harry is actually pleased or disappointed that Snape is not his father, but congratulations on finishing the story. Good job.

    thanks so much for your review - much appreciated!

    I shall quickly respond here for everyone; I am sad to say that I now have a 'job' - awful disgusting 'thing' that it is - and therefore my time is much more limited.  I am still working on this fic and the next chapter is about three quarters written, but it may take some time to finish.  I'm so sorry, I really only have the weekends now to work on it, and even that is limited with the kids and all.  My job was supposed to be casual, but it's turned out to be nearly 30 hours per week and with five kiddies on my own (as hubby works away) that doesn't leave much time for playing Potter.  Believe me, even Pottermore hasn't had much of a look in.  But rest assured, it's not abandoned, and I'm working to a conclusion.  I will NEVER quit any of my fics, so hang in there.  Thanks so much for all interest and reviews - I love you all soo much for your efforts.

    Good chappie.

    You are killing me here though. I want to know if Snape is Harry's real father!!! I hope so, but if he's not maybe Snape will still be willing to act as a mentor to Harry.

    I do very much like the sound of a DNA comparison - and those tkae a couple weeks to get the results back. Unless magic could be used with it, to make things go a bit faster? Still hoping they are father & son!!
