    Really enjoyed the entire story I thought the 2 main characters had good characterisation, with Severus' particularly convincing based on your AU. Lots of Harry's internal monologue, reactions to magic, convoluted logic and how he talks to the adults is hilarious, and the plot made sense. I thought Hermione's characterisation was too harsh though, as I doubt she would be so enthusiastic (pushy) when Harry was giving the right answers and not looking for her help.
    I liked the ending, sentimental and simple, just as Snape's statement was.

    Author's Response: Well, this is AU, so Hermione could be a little "more" than in canon, but at least Harry was able to answer correctly this time. I really loved your detailed feedback -- one of the best responses I've gotten on any of my stories! :-) // It's been a while since I last read through Hut, but you brought back some memories that made me smile, particularly regarding Harry's reaction to magic as well as his conversations with the adult characters (particularly the magical ones).     Wonderful story! Absolutely loved it.

    Author's Response: Thank you so much for the compliment! This was the longest story I've finished to date, and it still amazes me that I got it done! It's always a challenge to translate my mental images into written words, and I love hearing that my readers liked the result! Thanks so much for the review!

    What a good day for Harry. Not only did he get the weeding done, he didn't have to serve the Dursleys and was able to filch a decent meal, including cake.

    Author's Response: Yep! I've had several crappy birthdays, but I wanted Harry's to be great! I could do with some chocolate cake right now... Thanks for the review! ;-)

    I wish you would continue with this one. I've read it so many times that if it were paper the pages would be fading.

    Author's Response: Oh dear! Originally, I wrote "Hut" entirely by hand on real paper! (Don't have a computer-- had to later type it up on library computer!) I'm so pleased to hear that you love the story enough to reread it repeatedly, but I honestly had no plans to carry it beyond Harry's first day at Hogwarts. I won't say "never" to a sequel, but I'm not planning one right now. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't wear out your mouse!
