Reviews For Trading In My Ashes
I like how, while Harry is behaving badly, there is still the old Harry in him. I can still feel his original character. Also, I adore your Snape. He's still very canon, while at the same time, managing to take the situation into consideration. Your portrayal of a teen trying to take some semblance of control over his life is very nice. Am I right in understanding though that you are ignoring the book plot with this story, though? Author's Response: Yeah, basically years 1-5 were the same and Harry's 6th and 7th year are all totally different.
Thanks for your review!
The reactions of the other professors (besides Snape, of course) are so frustrating. How can anyone be so clueless. I know Harry was acting like a jerk but I also blame the profs and his "friends" for not seeing past the surface and for not helping him. Anyway can't wait for the next update :) Author's Response: Yeah, the reader is meant to be a little upset with them, but I can understand their reactions as well. At this point Harry has been such a menace and has had such an attitude that others have given up. It could have similarly been said that if Harry had only looked past Draco's rough exterior for all those years, he could have helped Draco (because Draco was always a jerk), but it's easier for a person to live a less stressful life by ignoring what's wrong with other people sometimes, which is the way a lot of people work.
Thanks for the review!
I'm dying to see what you have planned for the story next! Can't wait for the next update.
I hope that she feels really bad. Great chappie.
Phew! Wonder what Severus will do to the Muggles! Great chapter! Onto the next.
Author's Response: I'm not a psych major for nothing! Lol, thanks for the review. |
