Aww love how the relationships are continuing to develop and the little snippets of information about the professors and characters
Another gorgeous chapter; I love the 'pet bat' reference and the evolution of Crabbe's character. Snape's interaction with Hermione is also really interesting and believable and I love the sarcastic little asides that Minverva and Severus make in their reports.
I also agree with your conclusions re: the sorting of the Weasley twins and Draco
Oh, feeling really tearful. I love Harry's interaction with Severus; you've shown Severus' best traits- intelligence, intuition, adaptability- but still kept the dark sarcasm and vague irratibility.
I really like your choice of using transcripts inter-dispersed with commentary and I think it was a great idea to have all four houses- it really highlighted the differences between each teacher's approach- all of which felt very authentic.
Finally I love that Harry seems to be a nature-mage and possible seer/intuitive; it feels very apt somehow.
Argh...poor Severus - I hope he and Hadwyn's relationship didn't suffer an ending. It would be a shame, and I strongly suspect that Severus was mourning that aspect of their relationship when Harry dragged him into the room. I also think that Severus was scard to possibly lose Harry over it as well. The tears were a mix of pain and relief, in my view. I wanted to hug Severus!
I wonder how Hadwyn and the boys will reconcile later on? If ever? I really hope they do.
I think that Hermes and Severus and Harry will have a lovely Christmas - I hope that Vince's Christmas is a safe one, and really hope his father doesn't come home during the holidays at the last minute. Otherwise, I think he'll have a quandry getting back to the school for safety reasons.

Great installment! I'm glad someone confronted Severus about what he did to Dudley, as it just doesn't feel right. I hope they can do something to fix it.
