I liked it.... Definitely different with the present tense, but very well done. I should have known Dumbledore was behind it... :)
Oh, great story! I love it! DD's meddling comes to some good. :-)
Very well written. I think you succeeded in making it almost poetic. Good ending, too, although I usually like things spelled out for me. But this was well done.

Wow, this was very well done! I thought you did a fabulous job so no worries at all. The ending was great, but it certainly left the reader hoping for more.. No chance that there'll be another chapter following this one? (pretty please!)

I thought the present tense format worked well, even though it was a rather action-packed tale (for some reason most present tense stories tend to be more introspective).
Some of my favorite moments: Vernon Dursley's verbal bullying of Harry and Snape's intervention; Draco protecting Hermione, and finally Dumbledore... although if any of the parents ever find out he brought a dragon into the school "for the greater good", I imagine he'll find himself in quite hot water!
