Awww, that is so cute! Harry has a kitten! I love it! :D I am so glad that Harry was able to be rescued! And I am glad that it wasn't Harry's relatives after all who hurt him, but Death Eaters. I wonder if they were planning on killing him. In any case, I am so glad that Harry and Severus are back together again. Yipee! Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Unfortunately, the current children welfare system today is very much like this. Not every detail or ever instance! But, my grandmother is a social worker and she unfortunately seeing people take children in for the wrong reasons everyday and sometimes doesn't have the choice of telling them no. Either it's for the money, looking good to friends or some other self gain. It's kind of sad that these people slip through the cracks.
Again, this is not everyone who adopts or is a foster parent! There are wonderful parents who foster and adopt out there and they are amazing people!
Calm down? Calm down? You said it was going to get better so I decided to go ahead and read this chapter, HOWEVER, you FAILED to mention that it would get worse, MCUH WORSE, before it got better. I can honestly say that if you hadn't gotten him out of that hell hole in this chapter, I would not have read anymore of what was once a really good story!!! As it is, I'll be reading the next chapter very cautiously. I stand by my original thought that excessive abuse was completely uncalled for and I hope Severus, Don, and Albus all pay you a little visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
