    "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls.

    "And I don't want the world to see me
    Cause I don't think that they'd understand
    When everything's made to be broken
    I just want you to know who I am."

    I usually don't like Abusive!Sirius, but I'm enjoying this very much. I could see Sirius going here in his head. Just being a big ol' bully cause he never learned anything else, having come from an abusive home himself.

    Well that was an interesting twist. I cannot wait to see how long and twisted of a road you have ahead of those two.

    Brilliant chapter. You were right, short but very enjoyable. I will be curious as to the reasons behind Sirius' abrupt change of mannerisms in regards to harry.

    Awesome like always!

    I really like reading your stories because of that angsty atmosphere you are creating.

    I love the way you make Severus hate Harry quite clearly while Harry himself struggles with accepting Severus' dislike of him because our loved Potions Master is showing affection to other prople in Harry's presence.
    It always makes my hurt inside but that's what I want and thank you for writing like this.
    (like in Secret Father and Everything to lose)

    I hope that Severus will need a little bit more time to accept Harry and vica versa so it stays that nice way of angsty haha :)

    Can't wait for the next chapter, I was SO happy to see that it was updated today b29;

    I have a love/ hate relationship with these dark themed stories. They are so angsty. First I was heartbroken for Harry and was hoping that Sirius was actually an imposter but now I'm thinking that it is Sirius and he treated Harry badly because he knows Harry is snapes son. Either way it was so sad to see Harry so heartbroken that there was no one to turn to. But then happy at the end of this current chapter that Snape might actually come around

    Author's Response: I think we all have a love hate relationship with these stories.  I don't like stories without a happy ending or some semblance of one in any case.  Don't worry though, in a few chapters we'll discover more about Sirius and his motives, and in the end of the story we'll even get to see a bit more of them.  It was indeed Sirius, but rest assured he did not do that to Harry because Harry is Snape's son.

    ; ))). The connection finally. Very intricuing, could really be either. Maybe Black just thought Harry betrayed him or... Whatever it is I really enjoyed that Chappy!
