I hope and pray to every god and their Merlin that lord Moldyshorts stays dead this time.
Ah, loving this story so far!!
I don't think Harry is being unjustified. He's gone through a great deal and what Sirius did obviously left a great impact on his already fragile emotional state. It's not really about teenage angst or 'oh poor me'. It's about how people deal with hurt and abuse. Like you said, PTSD.
I think Severus just wants the best for Harry too. He's not completely comfortable with Harry being so close to Remus. Maybe part of it is jealousy. Maybe unconciously he doesn't feel like Harry is 'safe' with Remus, given the history there. Maybe just doesn't want Harry to turn to Remus, and take Remus' advice instead of his.

That's a big step for Severus, considering he has a still fragile relationship with Harry. Bringing in someone who's nicer and easier to get along with could be a situation for jealousy, so it's very brave to do it because Harry wants it and it's good for him. And you addressed something I always wish had been in the books about Remus-- he never really did apologise about The Incident, even if he was nicer to Severus than Sirius. This was a great chapter.

Interesting chapter; Harry's interaction with all the adults went through a compression outburst of all the emotions he experienced in the books, but over several stories, even years in the cannon. At first I was very glad he had an uncontentious and supportive moment with Remus, but Snape's awkward reaction leads to the truth anyway. Harry still has his good head on his shoulders and I don't think he's out of line to feel torn in many directions, responsible for more than he should be, like mediating all the old grudges just to find an adult whose support is unconditional. And revealing at last how bad it really was with Sirius was so sad. He is right to be angry, and to consider forgiveness for as long as he can before he makes a decision!
