    WHAT a cliffhanger, indeed. But what a perfect chapter.

    The atmosphere you draw into your stories might well be my favorite thing about them. You excelled, once again. Perhaps one of the most brilliant moments was Harry's reaction to the storm outside--that facing his fear and staring at the lightning made him feel alive. Reading that, I remembered feeling the same way at times when I was younger, and very much terrified of storms after a microburst targeted my yard and traumatized me. But there is something so awe-inspiring about a natural force that can be so terrifying and beautiful, and it was very poignant, your use of it to express Harry's feelings.

    Great job!!

    Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much for the feedback! I am glad you liked Harry's lightning scene. Yikes, that sounds like a pretty scary event you witnessed!! Oddly enough I've never been afraid of lightning, even though my Grandfather  has been struck before (arced through the stove pipe when he was a kid and hit him) and got his eyebrows burned off in another near miss where lightning went through his bedroom window. Tonnes of other family members have had near misses with electricity  too ... weird. Storms are so awe inspiring though, no doubt. I am so pleased to hear you liked the atmosphere. I had to work really hard at it in this chapter. I worried it would be too sudden or out of the blue when the storm hits and all the other stuff happens. Anyway, thanks again for reviewing tess4aria!

    Hey!!! I'm waiting all week for this cliffhanger?!?!!!! I want the next chapter now!!!!! I want to know about the dog ...and tree ...and if they are hurt or if Harry gets sick from the rain and emotions ...and ...and everything!!!

    Author's Response: Hang on, just give me a second before I respond, I misplaced my pitchfork ... ... ... okay, got it! Yeah, I am evil. It was a nasty, awful cliffhanger.  Well, at least you only have to wait a week, right? *deflects hex with pitchfork*. I am glad you enjoyed the chapter though, and the next chapter will be up same time next week. Thanks for reviewing Hesperis!

    Poor Harry. He had such a fun day with Severus and then Aunt Isobel put an end to it. I wonder if Hermione would be able to stay with Harry and Severus if Snape would get up the courage to ask her? If it was in her parents will that guardianship would go to Aunt Isobel, she may not have a choice. Still, I hope Severus does ask her. She would be happier there. Really nice chapter.

    This is really great. I love stories with child!Harry and Father!Snape. And I think that you depict them very nicely. It seems realistic!

    Another great chapter. Fluff, angst, humour - it had it all, and in the perfect mix. I always love your fun young Harry scenes, and they were made even better with the inclusion of Severus as a playmate. Here's hoping he summons up the courage to ask Hermione to stay for the rest of the summer, he ought to realise that she won't need much persuading.

    Lovely chapter! I hope Snape gets to courage up to ask Hermione to stay...I think she would prefer that greatly.
    I loved the whole scene with the "knights" and "giants". It had me smiling all the way through.

    Yeah, Hermione does kind of seem to want to, doesn't she? I am glad you liked the knights and giants scene. I love writing scenes with imaginative play. Sooo fun. Thanks for reviewing!

    This chapter had me in tears, in more then one occasion. I hate the Aunt, please do something with her...

    It was a great Chapter ofcourse, I loved it. But like I said, a bit sad at parts.

    First, Happy Birthday. I am glad you left the "daddy" line in. AND Sev needs to ask Hermione to stay and not go with that witch (and I meant that literally and figuratively) They need to be a family. Great chapter.
