    Oh yes - makes sense that Snape would have had his escape all planned out. Might have been nice to see a bit of his new life to match what we saw of Harry's, but I guess this is Snape and Harry's story. It felt a bit like Snape was a cat toying with the mouse he'd caught, but they seemed to work things out to a good conclusion by the end.

    Author's Response: Somehow I always believed that if they did meet again after the Battle of Hogwarts, Snape would toy with Harry... just to get him back and irk Harry some more. So I'm glad to hear that it came across. Thanks.

    It's nice to think that Snape finally got a family and a relatively normal life after all he went through. And now that he and Harry have made peace, he and his wife may even return occasionally to the wizard world.
