I really liked Draco's thoughts. While Draco being all heroic is a little hard to imagine, but seeing as he realized just how crazy it was for him to be doing that, it fit better. Mind you, he was saving his own skin by going after Harry! Where is he though? If he had to be added to the missing list, did he go after Harry again? I really enjoyed this chapter. Best one yet, in my opinion! I may be biased. Draco is one of my favourite characters, slimy as he is. Ahh ... fishing! Clever! I really liked the descriptions of the flooded castle and grounds. It would be a sight to see, alright!

Wonderful chapter. Thanks for the update.

So, What's in the water? The room/openings are probably to small for the squid. But other than that--We know there are Merfolk in the lake, also grindilow (sp) and other trouble makers. But based on this flood, it could be something else--Selkie could be fun--especially if they are able to help. What about an Abaia--that could even help explain the flood. . . but I'm guessing you already have that planned out. A Fossie Grim probably wouldn't be much help--could cause a bunch of trouble actually. And, I suppose if you wanted to wanter into Arthurian legends, It could be the Lady of the Lake. So many choices? Just what will you choose? I am most currious.

    Thanks again for the update.
    V.

Hmmm...interesting chapter. Well, honestly I don't know if you really have a plan for getting Snape and Harry out of this mess, but this thing in the water could help you along there. It could be a danger, helping to keep them trapped, or it could help them get out. It could be a friendly water creature, that would help pull them out of there. You can definitely use it.

In the water could be a merperson or a fish, which would solve their hunger problem. If it was a mer-person then they could help them to safety.

Ooh a mermaid maybe? Perhaps the giant squid? Sure it is huge but they are invertebrates and pretty good at squeezing into tight spots. Intriguing end to the chapter! More soon, please!

lol I bet there is something in the water. Harry will keep seeing it from the corner of his eye and Severus will keep denying that he really saw anything until he is pulled down into the water from it. Harry helps get the thing off and then says "told you so" and a panicked on the inside but scowling face on the outside Severus will be like "when we get out of here Potter you will be in detention for weeks" but thinking 'what was that crap Potter was right'.

I think it could be a mermaid or inferi

Yay so happy to see a new chapter. At first I thought it was a ghost but then why not come up and say hi? Maybe it's merpeople from the lake...anyway I can not wait for another update and I'm happy to see Snape finally figuring out the truth! (:

Very nice chapter =o) It would be very interesting if in the water was some merpeople - they could send message throw tehm, or they could help them find some food...

Anything at all being in the water when one is so isolated would be freaky. I'm actually afraid to think about it. What I'd like to know is how the flood started at some point and how Hogwarts became so flooded.
