Poor Harry. I can't imagine him having any desire to spend Christmas morning with people who made it clear to him - he was good for nothing but trouble and that his very presence had ruined their summer. It makes sense he thinks Dumbledore put Snape up to it. It will be interesting to see Ian's reaction. Curious if he will go or not. Can't wait for more.

This is a good story, and well written. In this chapter, I'm puzzled as to why Snape does not try to let Harry know that he is trying, by being a little less harsh with him. After all, Snape has a son, Ian, and therefore should realize that children need approval sometimes. I don't expect him to become overly sweet, after all, he isn't with Ian either. But a little wouldn't hurt!

Loved it. And yes, I think things are moving along moderately paced now. Hmmm, maybe have Harry overhear Snape talking to Ian and tell Ian it was snapes idea and not dumbledor to have Harry over for breakfast. Not sure how it would play out but Harry still thinks dumbledor is pulling snapes strings. Harry will never warm up to Snape until he believes that Snape is doing it of free will. I mean Snape already told Harry the weekly meetings were dumbledors idea and is keeping Harry from hogsmead so Harry doesn't feel very familial right now, even though Snape has done a few surprising things such let Harry off when he forgot about the essay and telling off Malfoy. Hopefully, something else will happen . Maybe Snape could give Harry the broom instead of Sirius.

Thank you for the double update! You made us all happy:) You have another well written chapter again and I am completely hook with this story. I really hope Harry finds an excuse to tell Snape that he cannot spend his Christmas with him. It would be too soon for Harry. Snape cannot just expect him to say yes right away when he had made harry suffer in his hands during the summer. I hope the Golden trio celebrates it with Lupin. Now, that would be awesome! I would rather have harry celebrate Christmas with the people who loves and cares for him. It would be awkward to celebrate with the Snape's. They don't have a good foundation with their relationship yet for Harry to agree and be a part of their Christmas tradition. I cannot wait for the next chapter! Thank you!
